One of Southport’s oldest cars, this 1963 Type I Beetle was brought to 81a as an MOT failure during the summer of 1999.

To bring the car back to its original glory, extensive repairs were needed to all body panels, flooring and the brake system.

The following photographs show the extent of the work undertaken by 81a to the satisfaction of the customer.
